"Nathan" in Warsaw: a performance that makes you want to be silent and think
On June 9, 2025, the WAM Theatre in Warsaw hosted the play "Nathan" - a heartfelt stage story told in the language of contemporary theatre, where words, music and the gaze of the audience become a single organism. The play was written by playwright Artur Solomonov in 2021, and tells about the complex manifestations of humanity, faith and responsibility in absurd circumstances.

The main role was played by Anatoly Bely, an actor who creates tension, atmosphere, and inner current with his mere presence on stage. His scenes are not just a game, they are a deep dive into human truth.
Mikhail Borzykin, the leader of the group "Television", brought a powerful musical component to the performance. His original songs, previously familiar to adult audiences, sounded new: for many young viewers, this became a discovery of lively, bold, emotional art. Borzykin is the voice of a generation, not afraid to talk about sensitive topics, and it is this honesty that resonates with the dramaturgy of the performance.
This was not just a theatrical evening - it was a meeting with living, necessary art that is not afraid to talk about difficult topics and leaves a lasting mark.
The show was organized by the cultural platform AEvent, which creates events with soul — chamber in format, but large-scale in content. "Nathan" became part of the program, the goal of which is to provide access to relevant theater without going abroad.
“Now I have clearly understood that you are doing a great job – giving us the opportunity to see, hear and feel such contemporaries, meeting with whom is not just a pleasure, but a necessity,” the viewers share.
We thank the artists for their trust, strength and professionalism.
Thanks to everyone who helped before, during and after the performance.
And of course, special thanks to you - our viewers. You are the participants of this performance!
